The Ripken Foundation, Greensboro PD and Greensboro FD joined youth from the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Greensboro for a fun-filled day of sports. 150 youth participated in a variety of sports-based activities and law enforcement presentations, including a police vehicle demonstration and a fire engine vehicle demonstration. The kids loved trying on the fire equipment and using the police sirens. An inflatable obstacle course was also on-site for kids to play on. In honor of National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we are so grateful for the support of our law enforcement mentors across the country.
