  • How do I sponsor an event?

    If you are interested in sponsoring one of our amazing fundraising events, please contact SVP, Resource Development, Elise Lee at elee@ripkenfoundation.org or (443) 841-7044. You can also review our upcoming events here. Once you have determined which event you would like to sponsor, you can fill in the form located at the bottom of the event details page and someone from our team will contact you shortly about next steps.

  • How do I honor someone with a charitable gift?

    You can honor someone with a charitable gift very easily on our donate page. Under “Giving Options”, select “In Memory Of” or “In Honor Of” depending on your reason for giving. Next, provide the name of the person you would like to honor and their contact information, if you would like us to notify them on your behalf. This information is optional. Next, provide your contact and billing information. Click “Submit Payment” and you are done. You will receive an automated receipt via email and a thank you letter from the Foundation in the mail with a tax receipt. On behalf of the Foundation, thank you so much for your generous support!

  • How do I start a Badges for Baseball program in my community?

    Badges for Baseball is the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation’s signature program that builds positive partnerships between law enforcement and youth-serving organizations. For more information on how to start your own program, please email info@ripkenfoundation.org

  • How do I join an existing Badges for Baseball program?

    Joining an existing Badges for Baseball program is different depending on how you participate with the program.
    If you are a:

     

    Youth participant:

    The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation partners with over 100 community based organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCAs, youth serving organizations, and more. With the help of your parents and/or guardians, check out the map on the Badges for Baseball page to see if there is a program near you. 

     

    Mentor:

    Law Enforcement Member/Agency:

    Badges for Baseball programs are always looking for consistent mentorship from their local law enforcement agencies. Check out the map on the Badges for Baseball page to see if there is a program near you. 

  • Can you build a Youth Development Park at my site or in my community?

  • Who can apply to receive funding through the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and how do I do so?

    The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation’s grant application is by invitation only. For all inquiries regarding grant applications, please email info@ripkenfoundation.org.

  • How do I volunteer with Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation programs?

    The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation doesn’t offer direct individual volunteer opportunities, we have plenty of youth development partners that would greatly appreciate your help. Please see our Volunteer page for more information on how to get involved!
