In light of the temporary closure of our Ripken STEM Centers, we modified our existing STEM curriculum by creating the Ripken At-Home STEM Program, providing youth from across the country with At-Home STEM Kits to keep them engaged at home. Through this effort, kids have continued their hands-on exploration of STEM subjects using the fun and educational STEM learning products included in each At-Home STEM Kit.
Last week, we provided 725 of these At-Home STEM Kits to students of the Rufus C. Burleson Elementary and Nancy J. Cochran Elementary schools in Dallas, TX, thanks to the generosity of our partners, Niagara Cares.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to our communities, thanks to our partnership with the Ripken Foundation,” says Kristen Venick, Director of Corporate Giving at Niagara Bottling. “We are proud to support their efforts in providing tools for at-home-learning during these unprecedented times.”
Until we can safely reopen our 64 Ripken STEM Centers, we will continue to remotely spark excitement for STEM learning in eager young minds across the country.
