97th Youth Development Park Completed in Gonzales, LA

The Ripken Foundation has completed its 97th Youth Development Park in Gonzales, LA: the Team of Dreams Adaptive Field.  This new recreational field will serve kids of all abilities in the Ascension Parish community. Through our partnership with the Team of Dreams youth organization and the leadership at Ascension Parish, kids will have the opportunity to participate in team sports year round surrounded by caring adult mentors. The Ripken Foundation would like to thank the generosity of The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation for their major contribution to this project. This Adaptive field  will serve as an outlet for kids to learn lifelong, healthy habits that produce positive outcomes in children with special abilities.
