Welcoming Tim Bancells!

Oct 08, 2015

This Monday, we welcomed a new program coordinator to our team: Tim Bancells.  We’ve already thrown him right into the mix with a Badges for Baseball Kickoff event with Living Classrooms on Tuesday and a clean-up day yesterday at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Baltimore with our friends from NY Life, Home Depot, and Aarons!  This weekend, he goes on his first CRSF trip with Kaitlin and Darius for a College Experience Day at Bucknell University.

Before he hits the road, we asked him to share a little bit about himself…

My name is Tim Bancells.  I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and continue to live in the area. In May of 2015, I graduated from Concord University where I studied Sports Management.  While attending Concord, I was fortunate enough to play on the baseball team as well.  For the past two years, I returned to Concord as an assistant coach for the team.  Throughout my career I have taken part in organizing and executing multiple youth baseball camps for children of all ages.  These experiences led me to having an internship for Ripken Baseball in the Baseball Operations department this past summer. I believe that my past experiences along with the internship with Ripken Baseball have given me the necessary knowledge and experience to be able to benefit the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation.  I look forward to being able to help the Foundation continue to grow and reach the goals in the best way that I can.
