This week, we welcomed Stephanie Green. Stephanie will be working as the newest program coordinator in the Park Services department. We are very excited to have her join the CRSF team! Let’s learn more about Stephanie in her own words…
Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, and I am the newest member of the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation. I am extremely excited to join the Foundation. I originally went to school at Longwood University in Farmville, VA, yes, Farmville. I played Division I soccer for the Lancers from 2010-2013. Unfortunately, I had a knee injury that would no longer let me play. From there I transferred back home to Towson University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management. Once out of college, I started working for Fleet Feet Sports, Gaithersburg, where I was the Director of Training Programs, overseeing and managing all of their walking and running programs. With that role I soon started running and planning all in-house and off-site events. Through my time at Fleet Feet I gained the love for running as well as watching those accomplish their goals through exercise.
I can’t wait to start my journey here at the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation, and be in the city and state that I know and love!
