All of the kids are back home now, either in school or getting ready to start school right after Labor Day. But we had another great camp with 122 program participants and their mentors from 7 states and Canada! Here are some highlights from last week:

In addition to presenting to the campers about their jobs and the types of equipment they use, our Badges for Baseball partners also acted as coaches throughout the week!
Special thanks to our Badges for Baseball partners: US Marshals Service, Maryland National Guard, Montgomery County Police Department, Harford County Sheriff’s Office, DEA, Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland State Police, Anne Arundel County Police Department, Baltimore City Police Department, US Department of Homeland Security, Laurel Police Department, Aberdeen Police Department, Prince George's County Police Department, Baltimore County Police Department, Maryland Transportation Authority Police, Baltimore Sheriff’s Office, and the Bel Air Police Department. We are also very grateful to the military veterans who served as coaches throughout the week!
While we played lots of baseball, Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation camp is about so much more, like reflecting on the type of people we aspire to be and how we can achieve our goals:
