Shannon joined the Ripken Foundation in 2022, bringing well over 20 years of experience in building strong alliances among various public and private stakeholders and growing successful programs. Her diverse background encompasses her dedication to collaboration, brand alignment, reputation management, and community development. In her prior careers, Shannon coordinated volunteer opportunities to ensure successful community enhancement projects, managed corporate giving programs, and served on numerous boards and committees working towards building thriving communities.

Her passion for helping children see beyond their current circumstances to a bolder, brighter future through educational opportunities has been a driving force throughout her career. It’s that passion that brought her to the Ripken Foundation where she continues to work with educators and funding partners through the foundation’s STEM Center program.
