In today’s STEM Play of the Day from the Ripken Playbook, you will create a STEM Careers Alphabet to teach you about new jobs in STEM and inspire you to start thinking about your future!

Materials

STEM Careers Alphabet

Write the alphabet vertically down the left side of your paper. Beside each letter, write the name of a STEM career beginning with that letter.

For example:

A – Astronaut

B – Botonist

C — Chef…

Some letters will be trickier than others! Don’t be afraid to ask a family member or friend for help, or try doing some research on your own!

Questions

Which career seems most interesting to you? Why?
