Kelley joined the Foundation in October 2023 and has 23 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership. A native of Baltimore, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Education and a master of science degree in Adult Education: Administration and Supervision; both obtained at Coppin State University (College). She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., one of nine Greek letter organizations in the National Pan-Hellenic Council. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a teacher in Baltimore County Public Schools, an Instructional Facilitator at Johns Hopkins University, and Director of Upward Bound at Community College of Baltimore County during which she oversaw the budget and management of a multimillion-dollar federal grant as well as several federal and state STEM grants. Kelley serves on the Board of Directors and Chairs the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee at Watershed Public Charter School.
Kelley enjoys health and fitness, spending time with her husband and two sons, and attending sporting events (supporting her home teams). She hopes to bring her passion for outreach and experience building corporate and community partnerships to the Foundation.
