Carl Truscott
Carl Truscott is the former Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Appointed by the United States Attorney General, Truscott served in this capacity from 2004-2006. Prior to that, he served as head of presidential protection and Assistant Director of the United States Secret Service, where he served with great honor. Most recently, Truscott served as CEO, North America of ASERO Worldwide, where he advised clients on strategic plans for security preparedness, identified alternative uses for technology solutions to enhance homeland security, and integrated them into the security marketplace. Truscott’s volunteer service has included the Executive Committee of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, as well as the Board of Directors of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. His numerous honors throughout his law enforcement career include the Presidential Rank Award as Meritorious Executive in 2003.
