Ashley Dunbar McMullen
Ashley received a B.A. in History from Southern Adventist University in 2011. She taught high school history, coached girls’ basketball, and served as an assistant girls’ dean before going back to school to make a transition into nonprofit work. She received her Masters in Social Science, Global Analysis from Towson University in 2016 focusing her thesis on best practices of nonprofit youth sports organizations operating in the U.S. and Latin America. She served as a grant writing intern for the Ripken Foundation in 2015, and briefly worked as a grant writer and membership coordinator for the National Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD. Ashley is excited to be working for a dedicated mission-driven organization she believes in that allows her passion for youth development to drive her writing.
